LadyCat - The Domme
Often a Dominant is described as a person wearing boots/high heels and holding a whip in her hands. Most of the web pages I took a look at showed me exactly this picture and I thought maybe I am just different.
I am a woman who loves wearing jeans and sneakers, t-shirt and sweater and I do love fooling around with my sub. For me a Dominant isn't an "untouchable Goddess", always perfect, always strong and always knowing exactly what to do - this is a fairy tale.
Domination comes from the inside. A submissive can be dressed as a Dominant with boots and a whip in her/his hands and maybe for a while she/he can pretend being a Dominant, but after a while her/his words and gestures will show that she/he is submissive. I don't have to prove and show my Domination to the outside in wearing the appropriate clothing - I know who and what I am.

For me being a Domme doesn't mean making no mistakes. If I tell somebody to bring me some coffee and I forgot that I have a leash attached to her collar and she can't get that far - I'm not going to cover up. I say "oops..I made a mistake". Dominants are not perfect although some "wannabe's" think so. We are all humans and therefore not free of faults.

I experienced what it means to have a submissive of my own, what it means placing my collar around her neck and seeing the glimmer in her eyes when she knelt next to me or cuddled in my lap. I cherished the ultimate gift of her willing submission to me and helped her growing and finding her way. Not only she grew in her submission, I grew in my Domination too and reached levels I've never known before. Her trust and believe in me, her never ending communication and her honesty made us both complete next to each other - like two halves fitting perfectly together and making one whole out of it.
